The Outland Trophy released a list of 85 players to watch for the 2020 college football season. Included on that list are two Oklahoma football players, highlighted by Creed Humphrey who very well could be the recipient of the prestigious award given to the nation’s top interior lineman.
Humphrey is joined on the list by teammate Adrian Ealy. They are two of five returning starters that Oklahoma has on an offensive line that is expected to be the best in the Big 12 and one of the top units in the nation.
Early was a second-team All-Big 12 selection in 2019 and started twelve games for the Sooners at right tackle. Humphrey is a two-year starter at center for Oklahoma. The redshirt junior was a second-team All-American and was selected as Big 12 Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year as well as being a named a first-team All-Big 12 selection in 2019. In addition he was one of three finalists for Rimington Trophy (nation’s top center) last season.
The Big 12 Conference had a total of six players placed on the Outland Trophy watch list.
