A moment that, at one point, we didn’t think would get here is quickly approaching. The 2020 college football season is just over a week away and while the Sooners and Cowboys aren’t playing until September 12th football is football and we want to watch it. Here’s the complete rundown of games for Week 1 as well as broadcast information.
- Thursday, Sept. 3: Central Arkansas at UAB, 8 p.m. ET on ESPN3
- Saturday, Sept. 5: Eastern Kentucky at Marshall, 1 p.m. ET on ESPN
- Saturday, Sept. 5: SMU at Texas State, 4:30 p.m. ET on ESPN
- Saturday, Sept. 5: Louisiana-Monroe at Troy, 7 p.m. on ESPN3
- Saturday, Sept. 5: Houston Baptist at North Texas, 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN3
- Saturday, Sept. 5: Arkansas State at Memphis, 8 p.m. ET on ESPN
- Saturday, Sept. 5: Stephen F. Austin at UTEP, 9 p.m. ET on ESPN3
- Monday, Sept. 7: BYU at Navy, 8 p.m. ET on ESPN
September 5th will be the first Saturday the college football season and while there’s not really a big marquee matchup on the slate, the BYU at Navy game on Labor Day is certainly going to draw a ton of attention, and with Rece Davis and Kirk Herbstreit on the broadcast it’ll most likely serve as the unofficial starting pistol to the season.
