Not too long ago Billy Bowman was thought to be a lock to land at the University of Texas. In fact, he could have been the crown jewel of the Longhorns 2021 recruiting class. Life comes at you fast though and not only as the #3 athlete in the entire recruiting class decommited from UT, he’s widely thought to be heading north to Norman.
On Tuesday evening Bowman released his Top 3 schools since reopening his recruiting and the Sooners are right there along with LSU and Georgia.

Bowman has picked up six crystal ball predictions to Oklahoma from the recruiting site 247Sports. The most recent two came from TexasInsider’s (Horns247) Mike Roach and Nick Harris. That now makes the Sooners the heavy favorite to land the talented playmaker.
At 5-10/175 Bowman plays on both sides of the ball where he’s earned a total of 32 scholarship offers. He’s most likely slated to use his skillset as a receiver if he decides to play at Oklahoma. In addition to football he also plays basketball and runs track where his speed can be on full display.
