Oklahoma Sooner TE Jalin Conyers Enters Transfer Portal

The Oklahoma Sooners remain focused on the task at hand as the Cotton Bowl sits just on the horizon. However, in the shadow of the contest, one player has tossed his name into the transfer portal. On Wednesday morning, tight end Jalin Conyers announced the intention to transfer via social media.

Citing, “what is in [his] best interest moving forward,” Conyers failed to appear in a contest as a freshman. Initially choosing the Sooners over programs such as Georgia, LSU, and Texas, the 6-4 tight end possesses plenty of potential. Now officially on the market, suitors will certainly be in contact with the former 4-star recruit.

At the time of writing, Conyers’ name had already been removed from the official roster. Still, it’s a deep position with six other names competing for playing time.
