Oklahoma has been trending for Baltimore, Maryland (St. Frances Academy) defensive end Derrick Moore for the better part of three months now. The Sooners may have hit a high point in his recruitment on Wednesday though when three crystal ball predictions came in that were all in favor of the crimson and cream.
OUInsider Parker Thune, 247Sports National Recruiting Analysts Brian Dohn, and 247Sports Director of Football Recruiting Steve Wiltfong all cast predictions for Moore to spend his college days in Norman, Oklahoma. Those three predictions joing OUInsider Brandon Drumm who had cast a crystal ball prediction towards Oklahoma back in February, giving a total of four predictions towards the Sooners.
Moore is a 6-4/260 defensive lineman who 247Sports has ranked as the #10 player at his position and the #1 overall player from the state of Maryland for the 2022 recruiting class. He’s earned 20 scholarship offers to this point and, led by Jamar Cain, Oklahoma has been fending off Ohio State and Penn State to lead in his recruitment.
Oklahoma’s 2022 recruiting class currently stands at eight verbal commitments with a #10 rank nationally and #2 in the Big 12 Conference.
