The Fourth of July provided quite a few recruiting fireworks for the Oklahoma Sooners. Rising into the top four nationally during the current cycle, the program continues to build upon the momentum. However, the coaching staff not only has their eyes set on the 2022 class but also the one behind it.
Placing an emphasis on in-state prospects, Lincoln Riley and the rest of the coaching staff have been evaluating the top talent in Oklahoma. Already projected to land the No. 1 player in the state in Luke Hasz, it appears as though another one will land in Norman as well. On Friday, the Sooners picked up a crystal ball prediction with Micah Tease, a receiver/corner out of Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa.
The 4-star recruit holds eight offers early on in the process. But, a handful of those are from the big boys such as Florida, Norte Dame, and Wisconsin. With plenty of time to make a decision, Tease will have plenty of options to choose from before he enrolls as a senior at the high school level.
Can Oklahoma fend off the other suitors for an extended period of time?
