The Oklahoma Sooners continue to prepare for the future by targeting some of the nation’s premier prep players. Currently making in-roads with various names, the program hosted Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy — an OU legacy — several weeks ago. Clearly leaving an impression with the talented prospect, the defensive lineman committed to play in the Palace on the Prairie for the foreseeable future.
A 5-star recruit out of Florida, Brownlow-Dindy’s decision came down to two schools, the Sooners and the Texas A&M Aggies despite a plethora of scholarship offers. Posting elite level numbers in terms of the measurables, this lineman also backed up the potential in the eye-test. Retaining a high ceiling as well as possessing a high floor, Brownlow-Dindy found being tabbed the No. 3 overall prospect according to 247Sports.
In the wake of the commitment, the 2022 Oklahoma Sooner recruiting class jumps up to No. 8 nationally. Additionally, it’s a win over a past Big 12 foe and future SEC opponent.
