Oklahoma City Thunder | Game #53 Preview: Golden State Warriors

The Oklahoma City Thunder has held down the fort valiantly since Shai Gilgeous-Alexander went out with a sprained ankle. Even in defeat, OKC has kept games close and put themselves in a position to win. Tonight is the toughest test of the last couple of weeks as the Thunder plays host to the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors lay claim to one of the most dangerous offenses in the league, led by Steph Curry, while also playing some of the NBA’s best defense. At 40-13, Golden State is second in the Western Conference standings, and they are currently riding an 8-game win streak.

The problem with playing Golden State is that there are so many ways that they can beat you. Luguentz Dort will be a game time decision due to a nasal fracture which he sustained in Friday night’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers. If Dort can go, OKC will have a much better chance at slowing the Warriors down offensively.
