Craig
Ole Miss (+11.5) vs. Alabama | I feel like Alabama is pretty overrated at the moment. A win over Ole Miss would change the narrative. But, I think the Rebels keep it close.
Kansas State (+2.5) at Baylor | This will be the perfect opportunity for Adrian Martinez and the Wildcats to bounce back after a disappointing loss to Texas. I think it’s going to be a close game, but Kansas State will edge it out in the end.
TCU (+7) at Texas | I’m still not understanding the lack of respect for TCU. Despite being on the road, I think they’ll take care of business.
Matt
Colorado (+34.5) at USC | We’re looking at the “game within the game” here. Five touchdowns is a huge margin…especially in conference play. USC has had several defensive issues and then you have to factor in that the Trojans probably won’t work keep the starters in the game for all four quarters. Those two factors would certainly trend towards the Buffs getting a cover here.
Indiana (+40.5) at Ohio State | Here’s the second massive spread that I’m attacking this week. We’re talking about nearly a 7-touchdown line here in a conference game. Ohio State wins going away but just on odds along I have to take the Hoosiers and those points.
Missouri (+20) at Tennessee | I actually think that this spread is spot on but I’m counting on the Vols to have a little bit of a hangover following last week’s loss to Georgia.
Zack
Kansas State (+2.5) at Baylor | Baylor has been on a bit of a hot streak lately, but Kansas State is the better team, regardless of where they’re playing. I’m taking the Wildcats.
Clemson (-7) vs. Louisville | Clemson all but soiled their chances of making the College Football Playoff after dropping last week to Notre Dame, so they have got to be mad about that. As a result, I think they come out with a recharged energy and try to destroy Louisville.
TCU (+7) at Texas | The Longhorns might win this one, but it won’t be by more than a touchdown. If anything, Texas might find a way to Texas this one away. IYKYK.
