Why the Thunder Will Cover (+3.5)
The Thunder has been rolling for a while now, and I feel like it has got to come to an end at some point, but I just can’t bring myself to pick it to happen tonight. The Thunder have owned the Kings for the better part of the last 14 seasons, but since OKC started tanking, Sacramento has finally started to pick up some wins. Regardless of any history, both of these teams have been playing extremely high-level basketball lately, and they both enter tonight on win streaks. At the end of the day, I have a hard time picking against this youthful, energetic Thunder squad.

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (242)
I typically try to stay away from a point total that is this high, but tonight’s game is different. OKC has one of the top-scoring offenses over the last month, and Sacramento has the #1 scoring offense in the league over the course of the season. On top of that, the Kings give up a lot of points. The Thunder’s defense has been incredible this month, so that might make a difference in tonight’s point total, but I can still see this one going north of 242, so I’m taking the over.
