Why the Thunder Will Cover (+1)
OKC and Utah are moving in two different directions right now. While both squads are in a rebuilding phase, the Thunder is very clearly moving straight up with theirs, while the Jazz might have to weather the storm a bit. After a hot start to the season, Utah has fizzled out a bit, and it’s probably not going to get much better through the end of the season. I’m honestly not sure why OKC is the underdog in this one, but I’m picking them to win straight up, regardless of where this game is played.

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (240.5)
This is one of the highest point totals that OKC has seen all season long, but if there is one thing they have done well the last couple of months it’s scoring the ball. Meanwhile, Utah is scoring just .3 points per game fewer than the Thunder. Put those two together and you get a lot of points. With plenty of rest for both teams, I think this matchup will feature a lot of scoring, so I’m taking the over on the point total.
