It’s Hump Day! That means that it’s time to look back at last week’s game and declare our top play. Once again we looked to you guys to give us an answer, and once again it wasn’t even close. You guys selected Jayden Gibson powering his way through the Iowa State secondary for a score as our top play.
The emergence of Gibson and Nic Anderson has been one of the more pleasant surprises through the first half of the season. He’s only logged six catches on the season, but he’s averaging 26.5 yards per catch, and two of them have been pretty spectacular touchdowns. He’s shown the ability to make the tough catch, and make the power move, a season after both of those things came into question.
Gibson secured nearly 54% of the vote in our poll this week. It makes the second week in a row that an Oklahoma receiver has produced the top play of the game, according to you guys.
Feel free to share your thoughts below. Do you agree with the vote? Did we miss a play that should have been an option?
