Series History

The Thunder is 0-1 against the Wolves so far this season (0-0 at home, 0-1 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-2)

OKC struggled on both ends of the floor in a 9-point loss to the visiting Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday, and I expect them to flip the script in several ways against the Timberwolves. The Thunder should definitely shoot the ball better than they did on Saturday, and I anticipate them to turn it up on the defensive end as well. This will be a close one, as expected, but if it comes down to a one possession game, I’m taking the team with the best player on the floor, which is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for the Thunder.

Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (228.5)

The Timberwolves have perhaps the best defense in the NBA, and while OKC didn’t show it on Saturday against the Lakers, the Thunder is solid as well. The final in the first meeting a month ago in Minnesota was 106-103, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we had another game similar to that final score.
