Series History

The Thunder is 1-0 against the Clippers so far this season (1-0 at home, 0-0 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (+6.5)

Let’s be very clear: the spread is only as big as it is because OKC is playing in the second game of a road back-to-back while the Clippers are coming off a day of rest. The Clippers are probably the hottest team in the league right now, so it’s going to take a lot for the Thunder to stick around in this one. Whether or not Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (sprained left knee) is good to go will likely be the key factor in how competitive OKC can be in this one. Either way, I’m taking the Thunder to cover, but I don’t think they can pull out a win in this one.

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (235.5)

OKC had a pretty rough shooting night last night—something that seems to happen when playing the Lakers—so I expect them to rebound tonight and hit some shots. Both the Thunder and the Clippers have good defenses, but I think enough points will be score to hit the over.
