Saturday brings a lighter schedule for the Sooners after facing a Friday night doubleheader to open the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic. On tap today for Oklahoma are the 8-5 San Diego State Aztecs.

– Oklahoma pushed its NCAA-record
winning streak to 64 games with a doubleheader sweep to open the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic on Friday evening in Cathedral City, dropping No. 20/25 Mississippi State 9-3 before run-ruling
Wisconsin 10-2 in the nightcap.

– OU used an eight-run fourth to put away the Badgers (6-8, 0-0 Big Ten) late on Friday evening.

– Tiare Jennings moved into second all-time in career RBIs at OU with the 255th of her career, recording the mark with an RBI single against Mississippi State.

– Both Nicole May and Kelly Maxwell earned their fourth wins of the season in the circle while OU’s bullpen extended its scoreless
inning streak to 27.1 innings to open the year.
