2024 Heartland Sports SEC Power Rankings: Week 11

As the eleventh weekend of the college football season gets underway, the SEC looks to be narrowing down to Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas. We have the Bulldogs and the Longhorns extremely close in their pursuit of Georgia, but don’t sleep on Alabama either. Once again, we only had unanimity at one spot, which was Georgia at the top, but beyond that we found no full agreement on any other program.

Make sure to check out our individual rankings below.

Individual Rankings

Caleb

1. Georgia |  Georgia was in a close one there for a bit before pulling away late. Carson Beck continues to struggle throwing 3 INTs.

2. Texas | Texas had the week off.

3. Tennessee | Tennessee didn’t let the hangover from beating Bama stop them from beating Kentucky.

4. Alabama

5. Ole Miss

6. LSU

7. Vanderbilt

8. South Carolina

9. Texas A&M

10. Missouri

11. Oklahoma

12. Arkansas

13.  Florida

14. Auburn

15. Kentucky | Kentucky loses another close game against a top tier team. Can they get over that hump and pull off another upset in the weeks to come?

16. Mississippi State | THEY WON!!!! The win over Umass puts them as 2-7 on the season.

Craig

1. Georgia | Georgia played very sloppy in their win over Kentucky. But hey, if you can win by two scores with your quarterback throwing three interceptions you must be pretty good.

2. Texas | The Longhorns move up a spot during their bye week thanks to Texas A&M getting blown out.

3. Tennessee | The Volunteers have a few tough games remaining, but they do control their own destiny. It’s impressive what Josh Heupel has done with this squad.

4. LSU

5. South Carolina

6.Texas A&M

7. Alabama

8. Ole Miss

9. Vanderbilt

10. Missouri

15. Kentucky | Kentucky has now lost four straight games after beating a top ranked Ole Miss team.

16. Mississippi State | Mississippi State got a win this week. Unfortunately, it wasn’t against a conference opponent.

Matt

1. Georgia | Carson Beck now has 11 interceptions in his last five games. It’s baffling for a guy who opened the season as one of the Heisman Trophy front-runners.

2. Tennessee | There is no margin of error for the Vols in terms of a berth in the College Football Playoff but they remain focused and one of the top contenders for the conference title.

3. Ole Miss | Ole Miss can not only play spoiler against No. 2 Georgia next week, but should find itself in conversation for the College Football Playoff by doing so.

4. Texas

5. South Carolina

6. Alabama

7. Missouri

8. LSU

9. Texas A&M

10. Vanderbilt

11.  Arkansas

13. Auburn

14.  Florida

15. Mississippi State | The Bulldogs’ win over Massachusetts ended a seven-game losing streak. They’ve earned a break from the basement.

16. Kentucky | The Wildcats have now lost four straight games and will have to win out in order to qualify for a bowl game.

Zack

1. Georgia | A near upset turned into a two-touchdown win over Florida. Not bad.

2. Tennessee | After trailing at halftime, the Vols pulled out a 10-point victory over Kentucky.

3. Texas | The Longhorns had the week off, but if they can take care of business against three consecutive lesser teams, they will be set up for a fun showdown against Texas A&M to wrap up the regular season.

5. Alabama

6. Ole Miss

7. LSU

8. South Carolina

9. Vanderbilt

10. Missouri

11. Oklahoma

12. Florida

13. Arkansas

14. Auburn

15. Kentucky | The Wildcats played Georgia close—they even led at half—but 4 straight losses has them down towards the bottom.

16. Mississippi State | Well, the Bulldogs got a win…unfortunately it was against UMass.
