Series History

The Thunder went 2-1 against the Pelicans last year in the regular season (0-1 at home, 2-0 on the road) and 4-0 in the playoffs (2-0 at home, 2-0 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-14.5)

The Pelicans are severely depleted, missing 4 starters to injury, and they’re simply unable to compete with most teams. OKC has a good opportunity to come out and put this game away early, and they need to do just that. New Orleans is 1-4 on the road with the 4 losses being by at least 15 points. I’m taking the Thunder to win by A LOT.

Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (223.5)

The Pelicans have one real scoring threat in Brandon Ingram, but the Thunder did a fantastic job at locking him up in the playoffs last year. I expect more of that, and I also expect OKC’s defense to be as good as it has been all season, resulting in a lower total score.
