As they navigate the fierce competition of their new conference home, the Sooners continue to dominate in key statistical categories, while sophomore Ella Parker is emerging as a true superstar.

The Sooners have plenty of talent, but no player has shined brighter than sophomore sensation Ella Parker. The reigning Co-SEC Softball Player of the Week has been virtually unstoppable, earning the honor for the second consecutive week.
At the Getterman Classic, Parker put on an offensive clinic, hitting .750 (9-for-12) with nine runs, six RBIs, two doubles, and two home runs. She was instrumental in an 8-0 run-rule victory over Hofstra, blasting two home runs in a dominant performance. Her ability to deliver in crucial moments and her elite consistency have made her one of the SEC’s most feared hitters.
Through 10 games, Parker leads the SEC in batting average (.647), hits (22), and doubles (7). Her scorching .707 on-base percentage and 1.118 slugging percentage further solidify her as one of the most complete hitters in the nation. Whether setting the table or driving in runs, Parker is a game-changer every time she steps into the batter’s box.
The Sooners’ Path Forward
With Oklahoma proving its mettle in the SEC, the team’s balance of powerful hitting and elite pitching makes it a legitimate title contender once agian. Parker’s continued dominance, combined with strong contributions from Sydney Barker, Tia Milloy, Isabella Smith, and Sam Landry, puts the Sooners in an excellent position to chase another championship.
