Series History
So far this season, the Thunder is 2-1 against the Timberwolves (1-0 at home, 1-1 on the road).
Why the Thunder Will NOT Cover (-12)
I don’t understand this spread. Has Vegas not seen the last two matchups? OKC vs. Minnesota continues to grow into a rivalry-like feel because of the physicality of the game. After the Thunder picked up a win last night in Minneapolis against a hostile crowd, you can expect the Thunder faithful to bring it all in a rematch tonight. Still, I think the Timberwolves are just too good at keeping games within reach, so even though I’ve got OKC grabbing another win, I don’t see this being a double-digit margin of victory.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (227.5)
Last night’s point total was 253, soaring over the point total. That was the exception, not the norm. Both teams shot lights out from three, and I expect those numbers to drop across the board. Regardless of shooting percentages, though, the intensity will be turned up, and this could be a pretty low-scoring outing overall.
