The highly anticipated top-15 showdown between No. 1 Oklahoma and No. 12/15 Arkansas has undergone a schedule change due to inclement weather in the Fayetteville area. Originally set to open on Friday night, the series will now feature a Saturday doubleheader at Bogle Park.
Schedule Changes Due to High Winds
Severe weather, including southwest winds between 30-40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph, forced adjustments to the weekend series for the safety of players and fans. The Sooners and Razorbacks will now play two games on Saturday, March 15, with first pitch of game one scheduled for 1 p.m. CT. Game two will begin approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
Sunday’s game remains as scheduled for an 11 a.m. CT start time.
Ticket Information for Fans
Fans who purchased tickets for Friday night’s originally scheduled game can use them for game one of Saturday’s doubleheader. Tickets for Saturday’s originally scheduled game will now be valid for game two of the doubleheader. However, Bogle Park will be cleared between games, meaning fans will need to exit and re-enter for game two.
