Series History
So far this season, the Thunder is 3-0 against the LA Clippers (2-0 at home, 1-0 on the road).
Why the Thunder Will Cover (-3)
The Clippers have been one of the hotter teams in the league lately, so this meeting will not be as easy as it was for OKC when these two teams met previously. The Thunder is 3-0 against the Clippers, but Kawhi Leonard did not play in any of those games. Still, I think the Thunder is much more well-rounded, and even though Jalen Williams is still out, and maybe Luguentz Dort is, I think OKC can win this one and cover the spread.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (226.5)
Both the Thunder and the Clippers play solid defense and hold opponents to lower-scoring numbers. While the Thunder has one of the best offenses in the NBA—and LA doesn’t—I still don’t think this one quite hits this point total as the Clippers are jockeying for playoff position and OKC seems to want to win regardless of the stakes.
