Why the Thunder Will Cover (-12.5)
The Pelicans are 0-5 with an average point differential of 15.6 points. OKC is still lacking Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren, but as well as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been playing, and as deep as the Thunder roster is, they realistically should cover this easily in front of the home crowd.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (230.5)
OKC has the top defense in the league, and the Pelicans have one of the worst offenses. The Thunder should win this by a lot, but even then, I don’t think New Orleans can score enough to see this one go over the point total.
