Nicole May allowed just one hit and struck out seven to collect her tenth win of the season as the Sooners improved to 30-0 on the season with a 10-0 run-rule win over Louisiana Tech. May only threw 3.1 innings before giving way to Olivia Rains and Brooke Vestal. In all, Oklahoma hurlers fanned nine Louisiana Tech batters on the way to their 22nd run-rule victory.

Oklahoma Softball ran the gauntlet of emotions during Sunday’s double header against Liberty. After Liberty pushed the Sooners to their closest win of the season in Game 1 OU bounced back to its typical run-rule fashion, that features explosive offense and powerful pitching, for a 16-0 route in Game 2. From the nervous feeling that comes with sneaking out a close win to the elation of crushing an opponent under your feet, Oklahoma was all over the place on Sunday.
