Oakland Athletics Draft Oklahoma Quarterback 9th Overall

Oklahoma quarterback, and center fielder, Kyler Murray just cashed in big time. Thought to be a Top 40 pick, the Oakland Athletics picked him up with the 9th overall pick in the 2018 MLB Draft. According to the 2018 MLB.com Murray is looking at a signing bonus north of $4.5 million dollars.

Sooners Secure A Spot In Tallahassee Regional Championship

Things couldn’t have gone better for Oklahoma Baseball on Saturday…well, except for maybe the weather. In the early game of Saturday’s session the host team, Florida State, was eliminated by a dramatic 3-run, 2-out, walk-off home run. Then in the late (much later due to weather) game the Sooners took to the inside track of advancing to the Super Regional by downing Samford 4-0.
