Buffalo Bills Release Former Sooner LB Eric Striker

I almost hate writing this article, as Eric Striker is one of my favorite players in Bob Stoops tenure in Norman.

As the NFL regular season closes in, this time of year can be rough for players that are fighting for roster spots. This was the situation with Eric Striker as he was released today along with 9 other players.

While this doesn’t necessarily spell the end for Striker (He could be picked up by another team or by assigned to a practice squad), it’s definitely a rough day for a player that many (me included) believed had a legitimate shot to make the final roster.
