It’s Sunday afternoon which means the weekly college football polls are out and, as you would expect, they don’t favor the 1-2 Sooners very well. Oklahoma has dropped from the Coaches Poll, where they would be #26 if it extended that far, and they are hanging on at #25 in the AP.
Considering the fact they they have a losing record it’s actually surprising that they are not out in both polls. What that basically means is that a win in Ft. Worth on October 1st most likely puts them back in. For now though, just try to adjust to the thought that the Baylor Bears are the highest ranked team in the Big 12.
