Kansas State (-6.5) at Iowa State:
The Wildcats have been so inconsistent with their level of play week-to-week, but their record at 4-3 has to mean SOMETHING. I’m not sure what that something is, but it should be good enough to win by a touchdown on the road against 1-6 Iowa State.
Texas Tech at TCU (+9.5): Arguably the worst defense in the nation takes on probably the biggest letdown in the Big 12 this season. The Red Raiders have not played defense in years, but this season is just absolutely pathetic, and I confidently stated in pre-season how I thought the Horned Frogs were grossly overrated, which they have proven to be. Home field plays a part here, and TCU manages to cover in a close game. I’m not even sure who will win, but it will likely be another shootout.
Baylor (-3.5) at Texas: I often find myself scratching my head at Vegas and some of the lines they come up with, but more often than not, they are so dang close, and it’s typically because they know something I don’t. I am in awe at how close this line is, but I don’t think there is anyway this game is even close. The Bears are going to absolutely maul the Longhorns in Austin.
West Virginia (-3.5) at OSU.
I’ve picked against the Eers too many times this year. They cover pretty easily in Stillwater although the Pokes put up a bit of a fight
Baylor (-3.5) at Texas. I’m guessing Baylor remembers last year. Baylor wins and covers comfortably.
Kansas (+40.5) at Oklahoma. Sooners easily win but I just can’t see anyway it’s by 40+
Kansas State (-6.5) at Iowa State | Kansas State is coming off of a win over the Longhorns that they barely pulled off. I believe Coach Snyder will have the Wildcats ready to go Saturday for a two score win.
West Virginia (-3.5) at OSU | The Mountaineers have been on a roll all season and I don’t expect anything less this weekend. West Virginia will win by a touchdown in Stillwater.
Baylor (-3.5) at Texas | Just like I said last week, Texas is a dumpster fire right now. Baylor should win by two scores on Saturday.
Iowa State (+6.5) vs. Kansas State | This is actually a good spot for the Cyclones. The Wildcats are coming off an emotional win and playing on the road, ISU is coming off a bye. There could be an upset brewing in Ames.
OSU (+3.5) vs. West Virginia | I love home dogs, especially in the Big 12! We’ll find out a whole lot about both of these teams on Saturday. A loss pretty much eliminates the Pokes from the conference title race but they’ll be the toughest road test yet for the Mountaineers.
Baylor (-3.5) at Texas | Seriously? I love home dogs but this has to be a joke right? I love the Bears less than a touchdown favorites.
