Sooners Add Two JUCO Prospects Today In Marquise Brown and Marcelias Sutton

Today was the first day that junior college players could sign their letter of intent and the Sooners added some pretty serious talent that could lead to immediate impact next season. Here is a quick overview of each player.

4-Star WR Marquise Brown 5-11/175 from College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, CA.

Brown was the first player to make his commitment to OU official. He let everyone know about it with the following tweet.

If you want to know what type of player Brown can be for the Sooners than look no further than this short highlight.

Brown will help alleviate the graduation of Dede Westbrook. He is a unique JUCO player in that he was a full qualifier out of high school, which means he will have the ability to not only redshirt (which I doubt he uses) to go along with 3 years of eligibility.

3-Star RB/WR Marcelias Sutton 5-10/190 from Lackawanna Community College in Scranton, PA

Sutton is a jack of all trades type player, but he could easily be one of the most impactful players in this class if Mixon and Perine leave early and declare for the NFL Draft. When I think of Sutton, I think of a guy who a bigger version of Roy Finch. Hopefully Lincoln Riley will know how to use him. Something tells me that will be the case.
