The 6-5/225 Katy, Texas native last visited Oklahoma on November 16th of last year. Since then, he had also taken a visit to Texas A&M but it wasn’t enough to sway him away from the Sooners.

Horton, a baseball commit first for Oklahoma, hit .461 for the Tigers last spring, with 3 long balls, 10 doubles, four triples, and 29 RBIs. From the pitcher’s mound he fanned 59 batters and built a 3-4 record on a 2.89 ERA.

Ranked as the top overall receiving prospect for the class of 2019, Haselwood was also the top overall prospect from the state of Georgia and the #6th overall recruit in the nation. The prestige he brings to this signing class will most likely move Oklahoma from Top 10 to Top 5 nationally. The Sooners already had the top overall class in the Big 12.

Lincoln Riley is in the habit of landing highly touted football recruits. He and his coaching staff currently have the top ranked recruiting class in the Big 12 and the nation’s 8th overall class. That class was boosted this morning with the announcement that four-star safety commit Jeremiah Criddell had chosen the Sooners over Oregon. His announcement, on national television, brought about an instant celebration party in the Oklahoma Football offices. It was quite the reaction for a group of guys that land four and five star recruits on the regular.
