You can never have too much talent on a football team, especially at running back. Regardless of what future NFL decisions await for Joe Mixon and Samaje Perine, the Sooners are stacking talent at running back and that fact has never been more clear than today. 4-Star RB Trey Sermon (6-1/220) from Marietta, GA made his commitment official. Sermon will be enrolling early and be ready for spring football. Sermon let everyone know of his decision with the following tweet.

Sermon has the speed and size to be that prototypical big back that can gain the extra yards when needed. He has everything that you would look for in a running back and I fully expect him to make a major impact during his time in Norman.

He chose the Sooners over offers from Bama, ASU, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Michigan St, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, WVU, and Wisconsin just to name a few.
