I don’t know if it is possible to EVER have enough offensive and defensive lineman on a college football team. They are what sets teams apart and separates the truly elite teams from just the really good teams. Well the Sooners have added a massive piece to the their class of 2017 in 4-Star OT Adrian Ealy (6-7/285) from Gonzales, LA.
Ealy announced his commitment in a unique way with a short video clip from Bleacher Report. Here is the video.

Ealy chose the Sooners over offers from Arizona, Auburn, Florida, FSU, Kansas, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Miss. St., North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
I would look for Ealy to redshirt (as OU returns their entire two deep along the offensive line) and then compete for one of the tackle positions the following season.
He is the 24th verbal commit for the Sooners class of 2017. Look for the Sooners to add 4-6 more additional players between now and National Signing Day, including one (if not two) additional offensive lineman.
