Ardmore, Oklahoma has been kind to the Sooners over the years, most noticeably with tight end Jermaine Gresham (currently with the Arizona Cardinals) and it appears that the Sooners may be getting some good news again from 2017 DL offer Tyreece Lott 6-3/270.
Lott picked up a Sooner offer in December, but shortly after committed to TCU after an official visit. That commitment didn’t deter Sooners Defensive Line Coach Calvin Thibodeaux who continued to recruit Lott. That recruiting paid off as Lott visited the Sooners this past weekend.
Lott informed us that he will be making his decision this Friday and that decision will come down to either the Horned Frogs or the Sooners. Lott would fill a major need in the Sooners class of 2017, as he can play either DE in a 3 man front, or DT in a 4 man front.
Lott also has offers Kansas, Kansas State, and Oklahoma State.
Here are a few pictures from his weekend visit to Norman.
