Gone are the days of Joe Mixon as well as Dede Westbrook shouldering much of the responsibility. Insert, Jeff Badet, a former Kentucky Wildcat wide receiver. The transfer officially joined the Sooners Football program on Thursday afternoon signing a finical agreement with the University of Oklahoma. Met with high praise, Bob Stoops said this about Badet, “We’re excited to welcome Jeff to our team. He has successful experience at this level and is a mature guy with great big-play ability. He was a key player for Kentucky and will come here ready to compete to be the same for us.”
Starting all 13 games a year ago for the Wildcats, Badet secure 31 catches to go alongside four touchdowns and a team high 670 receiving yards. A homerun threat, the wideout becomes immediately eligible for the Sooners.
