A physical and hard-hitting safety, the 5-10/165 prospect for the 2018 class has collected 11 offers. Nebraska, Iowa, Houston and Utah are just a few of the schools that are in on Delarrin Turner-Yell, but you have to think that its Oklahoma with the inside track at this moment.
The Sooners came through with an offer on February 8th but it was his visit to the campus that seemed to have the biggest impact. The Sooners currently have seven safeties on their roster with four of them being upperclassmen, led by former 4-star prospect Steven Parker who is the lone senior.
4-star safety prospect Patrick Fields (Tulsa Union) committed to Oklahoma on March 5th and is currently the only safety commit for the 2018 class.
