OKC Thunder Countdown to Tip-Off | 46 Days

Last season the Thunder were introduced to Jerami Grant. Grant came to Oklahoma City as a young, athletic small forward. He’s not the type of small forward to score 30 points on a nightly basis, but he is quite possibly one of the biggest freak athletes at his position.

When he arrived in Oklahoma City all I knew about Grant was that he could throw down some dunks. However, I didn’t know he was capable of some of the dunks he pulled off last season. He managed to throw down 46 dunks last year. In my opinion, he was robbed by not getting an invite to the dunk contest at the All-Star Break.

All players continue to develop throughout their careers. I’m confident that Jerami Grant will be no different. He improved every single game on his rim defense last year. In fact, he was in my opinion the best rim protector on the Thunder roster by the end of the season. Perhaps, if he continues to improve his all around game, he might finally get an invite to the dunk contest.
