Russell Westbrook was a triple-double machine last season. Everyone knows that unless you’ve been living under a rock. Even though every one of the triple-doubles was special, I still had my own personal favorite.

Back on April 9th of this year, the Thunder was on the road playing Denver on a Sunday afternoon. It was my day off from work, and I was covering the game that day. After an action-packed first half, the Thunder had a horrible third quarter.

Down by ten with only four minutes remaining in the game, it seemed as if my Sunday was going to be a waste. It appeared as if the Thunder had let another win slip away. That is, until Russell Westbrook reminded us that he is the best in the game right now.

The Brodie took over the final minutes of game as he recorded his 42nd triple-double of the year on 50 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists. To top it all off, he won the game for OKC on a buzzer-beater 3.

Thunder fans, only 42 more days until we get to see the Brodie play basketball again!
