OSU (-7) at Texas – I think the Pokes will go into Austin and take care of business on Saturday. The Longhorns are coming off of a big game against the Sooners and might start off slow. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Cowboys win by a couple of touchdowns.

WVU (-9.5) at Baylor – The Bears are still searching for their first win of the season, and it won’t be coming this Saturday. I expect Will Grier and the Mountaineers to win big over Baylor.

OU (-14) at Kansas State – I believe the Sooners have a lot to prove if they want to get back in the talks for the College Football Playoff. After seeing improvements on the defensive side of things last week, I think Oklahoma will win big on the road against the Wildcats.

Matt

WVU (-9.5) vs. Baylor – I love this line and I love this lock. The Bears still have some fight left in them, and West Virginia has some defensive question marks. However, too much firepower on the Mountaineers sideline will keep this at least a 10-point game.

Iowa State (-6.5) at Texas Tech – I’m a believer in the Cyclones…not so much in Texas Tech anymore. I think this is a super close game with a winner of less than a touchdown. That would mean ISU covers either way.

Texas (+7) vs. Oklahoma State – I think this point spread is spot on here. The Pokes are soaring once again but the Longhorns are circling the wagon. This very well could be their last stand which means they’ll be feisty. I like OSU in a close one here.

Rich

TCU (-39) vs Kansas – The Jayhawks have surrendered an average of 55.33 points in conference play this season and have yet to face the top offenses. As the No. 4 TCU Horned Frogs play host to Kansas, I expect the same trend to continue. Give me TCU all day long to cover!

Iowa State (-6.5) vs Texas Tech – I’m not 100% sold on this Red Raiders program. They’ve become much like a Katy Perry song — hot then cold, yes then no, in then out, up then down. You get the picture, right? With the way the Iowa State defense have been playing as of late, I believe they can pull off a win in Lubbock.

WVU (-9.5) vs Baylor – For the Bears, the focus remains on character over winning football games. I believe it is the right approach for the program and Matt Rhule as a first year head coach. The wins will come over time, but I don’t see it happening this weekend. WVU has a high powered offense that can go toe-to-toe with anyone in the conference. I’ve continuously doubted the consistency of Will Grier. Not this time!

Zack

WVU(-9.5) at Baylor – The Mountaineers picked up a solid comeback win against Texas Tech this last weekend, and Baylor has yet to get a win. A 10-point victory for West Virginia seems likely, even though this game is in Waco.

TCU (-39) vs. Kansas – The Jayhawks lost to lesser Big XII teams by 46 and 45 points in the last two weeks, so the Horned Frogs should have no trouble winning by at least 40.

Texas Tech (-6.5) vs. Iowa State – The Red Raiders need a win after getting upset last week, and the Cyclones’ streak has to end sometime, so it might as well be in Lubbock.
