After dominating the Kings in the first quarter on Tuesday night, the Thunder essentially came unglued for the rest of the game as they stumbled into their third loss in a row, this time against one of the worst-performing teams in the league. In the end, fans and media alike were bewildered and even questioned whether it was too soon or just the right time to panic.
While 10 games is a small sample, it is enough to take a look and see whether improvements have been made or not, and so far, Oklahoma City doesn’t look much better than it did at the start of the season. Tonight, the Thunder have an opportunity to show some progress as they take on Northwestern Division foe the Denver Nuggets. While there are still 70 games left in the season, Oklahoma City desperately needs to start stringing together some wins to show that they can be successful.
