During the fourth quarter of the Army All-American game, Brendan Radley-Hiles stood behind four hats spanning the country. The 5-star cornerback, ranked No. 17 overall by Rivals, surveyed the options before ultimate choosing the Oklahoma Sooners. Already a top 10 class, the group improved significantly with the most recent addition.
However, the announcement wasn’t a surprise to some. Josh McQuistion of Sooner Scoop immediately found Army All-American running back, T.J. Pledger. Posing the question, “how long have you been sitting on the Radley-Hiles commitment?” The Sooner signee responded with, “six months.”
Radley-Hiles joins a young but talented group consisting of Tre Norwood and Tre Brown who earned starts as freshman in the secondary. Yet, sophomores Parnell Motley and Jordan Parker should compete once again for the starting job. The future looks bright for Lincoln Riley and Oklahoma.
Choosing OU as the final destination, Radley-Hiles held offers from the USC Trojans, UCLA Bruins, and Florida State Seminoles — all four making the final cut. Welcome to Sooner Nation!
