The last time the Oklahoma City Thunder lost three consecutive games, they proceeded to go on an eight-game winning streak. Right now, the Thunder desperately need a win of any sort as they are on the brink of dropping in the Western Conference standings. Just a week ago, they were on the brink of breaking into the top four, and now they are on the brink of descending all the way to seventh place.
The Los Angeles Lakers, while still on the outside looking in when it comes to playoff contention, continue to draw interest due to their youthful potential. The Lakers have won five of their last seven, including victories over the Boston Celtics and the Indiana Pacers.
The Thunder has had no problem with the Lakers so far this season, winning by an average of 30.5 points per game. Sunday afternoon matchups can be dangerous due to the odd tip-off time, but as long as Oklahoma City can take care of business, they should have no issue with beating Los Angeles once again.
