Earlier this month, the Oklahoma Sooners sent an official scholarship offer to Manvel Defensive End, Kori Roberson. Receiving several offers from across the country, the junior decided to end his recruitment process by committing to play in Norman on Sunday. Roberson is considered a hard commit and joins five others as a part of the 2019 class thus far.

The three star defensive end racked up 47 tackles alongside 5.5 sacks during the 2017 campaign as a junior. Standing 6-3, 255-pounds, Roberson ranks 37th in the country at his position. Attending Junior Day on Saturday, the coaching staff and facilities clearly left a lasting impression as the commitment came a single day later.
The class is far from being complete and verbal commitments are non-binding. However, recruits can sign as early as December 20th of this year which remains a long way off. How will this group shake out when everything is said and done?
Until then, welcome to Sooner Nation!
