Clashing on the diamond, the No. 19 Oklahoma Sooners looked to continue the current win streak over Big 12 opponents. On the other side of the fence, the TCU Horned Frogs were dropped from the rankings and looking the right the ship. On Friday, it was Kyler Murray making a name for himself behind two homeruns. The effort helped Skip Johnson’s ballclub secure an 8-5 victory and a seven game win streak in conference play.
However, extending that streak would put on hold as Saturday’s contest was postponed. Expecting colder weather and thunderstorms across the great plains, Saturday become a day of rest as the two prepared for a double-header. The first of the two games is set to begin at 10:30 AM. Of course, the second game will begin shortly after the conclusion of the first.
Expected to take the mound for Oklahoma, experience right handed pitcher, Devon Perez, will be handed the ball.
