It’s a great time to be a Sooner and word is spreading. Four-star linebacker Jonathan Perkins (San Bernardino, California) got the message and jumped in on Oklahoma’s 2019 class.
His commitment was the tenth in the class and evens it out at five defensive and five offensive players.
Recruited by Tim Kish, Perkins picked up offers from the West Coast to the East Coast, 22 in all. The 6-1/207 standout is ranked by 247Sports 27th best outside linebacker prospect and 54th best player in the country.

The Sooners currently have three outside linebackers on their roster with Ricky DeBerry and Caleb Kelly both juniors.
