The Big 12 Softball Championship is set to get underway this weekend in Oklahoma City with Oklahoma and Oklahoma State finding themselves in separate pools, based on the regular season standings.

Oklahoma swept both Iowa State and Texas in route to an undefeated conference season. They hosted both schools in Norman, beating the Cyclones by a combined score of 26-7, including 9-1 run-rule on April 9th. They downed the Horns in a three-game series that included a 6-0 shutout win in Game One and a 5-4 extra-inning affair.

Oklahoma State took two of their three games with Texas Tech, dropping the middle one to set up a rubber match in the finale. The Cowgirls swept Baylor in a three-game series that featured a 14-6 run-rule in Game One and a walk-off in Game Two.

The winner of Pool A will play against the winner of Pool B for the championship at 4:00 on Saturday afternoon.
