Big 12 Tournament | Nicole Pendley Earns MOP Label

After claiming the Big 12 Tournament Championship, a plethora of Oklahoma Sooners heard their names called as a part of the All-Tournament Team. In total, seven different players made the cut. It should come as no surprise as Patty Gasso’s ball club continues to carry the conference banner.

Sweeping through not only the regular season as well as the tournament, it’s clear that there is something special about this program and more specifically, this team. Nicole Pendley led the charge on the offensive side of ball. Behind five RBIs on Saturday alone, the senior outfielder the label of ‘Most Outstanding’ player.

Joining her on the list are pitchers Paige Parker. Over the course of her career, the lefty has remained a constant staple and leader on this program. Providing a boost when she’s been called on, Parker set herself above the rest and joins the All-Tournament Team. Her partner and crime, Paige Lowary joined Parker on the list despite a moment of vulnerability on Saturday.

One of the best hitters in the country, Sydney Romero delivered timely hits and earned a spot on the list. In the infield, Shay Knighten joined the third baseman. Last, but not least, Fale Aviu and Jocelyn Alo found a room on the All-Tournament team as well.
