Oklahoma Basketball Offers Kenyon Martin Jr.

There are a lot of basketball fans out there that are going to remember the name Kenyon Martin. Well hang on because is son, Kenyon Martin Jr., is rapidly becoming a name among recruiting circuits.

As he heads into the summer before his senior season Martin currently holds five scholarship offers, with Oklahoma being one of them. You should expect that to change rather quickly though as the 6-6/185 is gaining momentum.

California, Cincinnati, Georgetown, and UC Santa Barbara join Oklahoma in offering the West Hills, California prospect and he’s thought to be a lean towards his dad’s old school, Cincinnati.

The Bearcats aren’t Oklahoma’s only rival with Martin though. Bob Huggins is lurking and is reportedly ready to make a move. He’s in a different location than when he coached Martin’s dad but he still has the inside track with the family and that would make West Virginia a strong contender here.

The Sooners lost forward Dante Buford before the 2017-18 season and just graduated Khadeem Lattin, leaving Brady Manek as the only power forward currently on the roster.
