The Oklahoma Sooners will open up the Big 12 Baseball Tournament at 9:00 Wednesday morning. OU lost two of their three games at Kansas to finish 14-10 in conference play. That earned them the fourth seed in the championship tournament and put them on the same side of the bracket as regular season champion Texas.
The Sooners will play Baylor (32-19, 13-11) in the opener. Oklahoma swept the Bears in the second weekend of conference play. The winner of OU and Baylor will play the winner of Texas/Kansas at 4:00 PM on Thursday, with the losers facing each other at 9:00 AM.
Oklahoma State shares their side of the bracket with West Virginia, Texas Tech, and TCU. The Cowboys will start their tournament run at 4:00 on Wednesday against the Mountaineers. The winner of that game will play the winner of Texas Tech and TCU at 7:30 Thursday evening. The two losers will play at 12:30 Thursday afternoon.
Oklahoma State took two of three games against West Virginia in Morgantown this season.
