Oklahoma State Football Season Opener Moved To Thursday

Television broadcast and kickoff times for Oklahoma State’s three non-conference football games have been set. In doing so, the Cowboys have moved their season opener to Thursday night.

OSU will host the Missouri State Bears, in a game that will broadcast nationally on FS1, on Thursday August 30th. It will mark the 11th time that OSU has played a Thursday night regular season game, and is the eighth Thursday night game played in Stillwater. The Cowboys kicked off their 2017 season by playing Tulsa on a Thursday night. Start time for the opener is set for 7:00 p.m. CT.

Oklahoma State’s Sept. 8 game, against South Alabama, is also set for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff and will be televised on Fox Sports Net.

The Cowboys will play their final non-conference game against the Boise State Broncos on Sept. 15. That game will start at 2:30 p.m. CT and be televised on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU.
