Oklahoma’s 2019 recruiting class has picked up it’s second commitment in the last four days. On the heels of Joseph Wete’s announcement on Saturday, the Sooners landed a big offensive line commitment on Tuesday.
Marcus Alexander made his commitment known via Twitter just before Noon on Tuesday. The Sunnyvale, Texas prospect chose the Sooners over Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Missouri, and six other schools.

Alexander was offered by Missouri as recently as May 24th but Oklahoma’s offer came in a day later and the rest is history. At 6-3/295, Alexander is ranked as a 3-star recruit by 247Sports. The recruiting service has him as the 22nd ranked prospect at the offensive guard position and the 60th ranked overall prospect from the state of Texas.
Joining EJ Ndoma-Ogar (Allen, Texas), Alexander is Oklahoma’s second offensive line commitment for the 2019 class. The Sooners currently have six offensive guards on the roster.
247Sports has Oklahoma’s 2019 class ranked 2nd nationally and the top class of the Big 12.
