Grayson Allen doesn’t play basketball to make friends. If you didn’t have enough evidence from his collegiate career then he’s showing that he’ll give you more as a pro. The Utah Jazz rookie mixed it up with former Oklahoma star Trae Young in Thursday night’s summer league game.

Now, to be fair this is the modern NBA and unlike the league of the 90’s and early 2000’s a scuffle is is more defined by hands thrown in the air and a few flops backwards than actual physical interaction. That said, Allen’s reputation proceeded him to the professional level.
Utah edged out Atlanta by a final score of 92-87 with Allen scoring 9 points to go along with 8 assists, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and a block. In the loss, Young scored 10 points with 7 assists, a steal, and a block.
The incident resulted in double technical fouls and young would ultimately foul out after playing nearly 31 minutes.
